The Culinary Center of Kansas City's Professional Culinary Arts Series of classes havs become wildly popular, with many graduations already under our belt. They continue to sell out quickly, so register early. Whether your desire is to build upon your existing skills or jumpstart your passion for cooking, we promise these Pro Series will change the way you approach your kitchen! Designed after typical chef training and taught by seasoned culinary professionals, these Pro Series courses will  take your cooking skills to a new level. And don't forget that we have a Pro Series just for your junior chefs, aged 9-14, as well! Students are required to wear a white chef's jacket to each Pro Series class.

9-WEEK ADULT PRO SERIES I -
COOKING FUNDAMENTALS FOR THE SERIOUS COOK

Designed after a typical first year of formal chefs training, this series will take your cooking skills to a new level. Knife skills, Meats, Seafood, Vegetables, Moist & Dry Cooking Methods, 'Mother' Sauces, 'Small Sauces, a Final Dinner Competition, and so much more. (includes binder for recipes & handouts, tastings and toque)

PRO SERIES II -
MORE COOKING FUNDAMENTALS
FOR THE SERIOUS COOK

Designed and taught by Culinary Institute of America graduate, and professional Chef Richard McPeake, this course will help you build MORE essential culinary skills, and teach you the proper way to prepare a dazzling menu in each course.

PRO SERIES V: BREADMAKING FUNDAMENTALS
WITH PAUL McCOOL

Whether you are learning to bake bread or want to take your skills to the next level, this class is for you. Bread foundations, bread types, whole grain breads, and a class focusing on sourdough breads as well as formula design. Taking all four classes is encouraged but is not a requirement. You may register for individual classes or sign up for all 4 to receive the most comprehensive education in baking... as well as a discount on the series.
